Head of Integrated Governance 

part-time role (two days per week)

(Based at Head Office, Wiltshire, but some homeworking possible)

We are looking for a talented individual to embed a risk management culture within and across the charity and drive its revised integrated governance arrangements to ensure that all of its services continue to be safe, caring, well-led, effective and responsive, in line with the effective management of risk and CQC Regulations.

Key duties will include:

  • Being accountable for establishing and embedding a leading-edge governance framework
  • Leading on developing and maintaining the charity’s compliance framework and associated information management systems
  • Playing a pivotal role in the development and implementation of the charity’s safeguarding framework.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate success in developing and delivering governance frameworks in a healthcare environment, including the CQC assessment framework, as well as experience of developing, creating and improving systems, structures and processes relevant to integrated governance.

Head of Marketing and Communications

Head office, East Knoyle, Wiltshire

We are looking for an experienced marketing professional to join us to position Action on Addiction and its associated brands for growth, both in terms of profile and revenue.

This is an exciting time to join a forward-thinking team and play a lead role in some pivotal projects including brand development and the implementation of a new digital marketing strategy. Key duties will include:

  • Developing, implement and promote a marketing strategy
  • Overseeing the development of the Action on Addiction brand and associated brands
  • Designing and implementing a series of effective marketing campaigns
  • Managing the development of the charity’s website
  • Developing, implementing and promoting an alumni scheme(s) for Clouds House
  • Advising the Chief Executive in identifying, planning, allocating and controlling marketing resources

We are looking for someone with senior level/strategic client marcoms experience in a B2B and B2C environment.

Registered Nurse

Location: Clouds House, East Knoyle, Wiltshire

Full/Part time: Both

We are looking for registered nurses with post registration experience to join our innovative and effective nursing team. The work we do with a very diverse client group is both highly rewarding and transformative. Key duties include:

  • Admitting clients into treatment
  • Administering medication
  • Managing detoxification and observation of unwell clients
  • Keeping accurate and timely client records
  • Dealing with cases of self-harm and reporting risks
  • Attending daily meetings and handing over information to other team members
  • Liaising with other healthcare professionals

Knowledge and previous experience of working with addictions is not essential – training will be provided.

Full and part time vacancies are available – with flexible rotas – as well as ‘bank’ arrangements.
