The University's main campus is located in Claverton Down, on the east side of Bath.

The University's sports facilities include an Olympic Legacy swimming pool. It hosts around 250 international-level athletics competitions as well as national and regional squads across 10 sports. University of Bath-based athletes won six medals at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Students of the University of Bath can study in the students' union building and the Library, which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and has around 500 PCs, fast Wi-Fi and plenty of power sockets for charging your devices.
Students can also access one of the seven computer labs on campus or the PCs and study spaces at the Virgil Building, the University's city-centre hub.
The University of Bath has been awarded gold status in the Government's Teaching Excellence Framework and is ranked as the 6th best university in the UK by The Guardian University Guide 2019. The University is also ranked 5th best for graduate prospects by The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2019.
