Ways to pay for your accommodation:

  1. PAYG (pay as you go/standard rate)
  2. Annual package by monthly standing order (includes a discount of 5%)
  3. Annual package by advance payment in one lump sum (includes a discount of 10%)

Terms:

  • All rates include room and continental breakfast (unless staying pre teaching day).
  • Rates apply to enrolled FD and Hons students only.
  • It is the student’s responsibility to find someone to share a room with in order to get the shared occupancy rate.
  • Allocation of en-suite rooms will go to advance lump sum students first followed by monthly instalments and PAYG last. The only exception to allocation of en-suite rooms are students with a medical condition once written evidence is provided.
  • Annual packages will be invoiced by early September each year and all payments should be made to ‘CATS Trading’ (a subsidiary of Action on Addiction).
  • To receive the annual package discount payment must be made within 30 days of the invoice date.
  • Payments by monthly instalments are shown above. Instalments must be arranged by setting up a standing order with the first payment due by end September and can be no longer than 9 months in length.  If the standing order is delayed, the monthly amount must increase and the duration of the instalments be shortened so that full payment is received by no later than end May. It is the student’s responsibility to cancel the standing order once the annual package has been paid in full.
  • PAYG accommodation is based on availability and must be paid no later than the beginning of each week’s stay.
  • Fridays or the end of teaching weeks are based on availability and are chargeable at the standard PAYG rate. They are not covered by the annual packages.
  • Rates are subject to annual increases or decreases, based on changes to the academic timetable, the economic climate and sustainability. All students pay the applicable rate shown above regardless of when they started the course.
  • Refunds for accommodation will be considered in exceptional circumstances only. There are no refunds available on annual packages if changes occur in the academic timetables; the annual packages already include free nights due to the discounts offered in the annual package rates.
  • A minimum of one night’s stay will be charged for no-shows and last-minute cancellations.
