Alcohol Rehabilitation at Hope House 

Hope House is a beautiful Georgian estate located in a peaceful corner of South West London, near Clapham Common. This residence is reseved for women only and can treat up to 22 clients at a time, giving them each the personal space and attention they need to recover effectively.  we can treat up to 22 women at a time – offering each of them the personal space they need to recover.

The treatment programme at Hope House includes:

  • Group therapy
  • addiction counselling
  • Relapse prevention training
  • Life skills training
  • Family based work and facilitated meetings with family members
  • Assistance with housing and resettlement issues
  • Health education workshops
  • Art therapy, reflexology, yoga and visits to a local gym
  • Participation in the running of the house eg, shopping, tidying and budgeting
  • Structured aftercare

Community Recovery 

There is very good evidence that our Self-Help Addiction Recovery Programme (SHARP) is the starting point for long term recovery and abstinence, and ultimately leads to improvements in the participants’ physical and psychological health, self-efficacy and overall quality of life.

Our community recovery programme in Essex shows that almost 80% of our clients did not return to any treatment service following completion of our programme.
