2 February 2018: Action on Addiction featured in The Parliamentary Review Action on Addiction was invited to share best practice in the provision of addiction treatment, and this article demonstrates how determined leadership and innovative thinking can deliver reform which makes a real difference to people’s lives. The article focuses on the life-saving treatment we offer at Clouds House, and also highlights the work we are doing to reach more people in more places through our outcome-focused community-based treatment programmes and degree level education courses taught at The Centre for Addiction Treatment Studies. The Parliamentary Review is disseminated to over 35,000 leading policymakers including MPs, Peers at the House of Lords, and senior government officials. It is also read by senior executives in pharmaceutical firms, practice managers, doctors, dentists, as well as key figures in the NHS. The total distribution across all policy areas is 250,000.
