Action on Addiction

The Angels Ball 2008 - 15^th November 2008

This year's Angels Ball took place on Wednesday 15^th October 2008 at the elegant Plaisterers' Hall. It was the seventh annual Ball and was a great success, raising an estimated £150,000 for Action on Addiction's vital research and treatment programmes.  

Guests were tantalised by a stunning evening of Burlesque, greeted by Bolli Darling Flamingos and Roxy Velvet in her birdcage on arrival, and entertained throughout the evening by Lady Grey Teese and an amazing Hand Balance act to name but a few!

 Over 300 high profile guests were welcomed to this fabulous event, including Sadie Frost, Trinny Woodall, Patsy Palmer, Lisa Butcher, June Sarpong, Eddie Jordan, Heather Kerzner and Graham Bell.

Bidders fought for some amazing prizes in the auction hosted by Tania Bryer, including a 7-night stay for a family of four at the majestic Atlantis Resort in Dubai, a five star Formula one driving experience in St Tropez, and a private box for 15 people to see Tina Turner at the O2 Arena.
