Forthcoming Events
Yogathon - October 2010
How many Sun Salutations can you do in an hour?
The Action on Addiction Yogathon challenges people to do sponsored sun salutations and raise vital funds for our research, treatment and training programmes. Throughout October yoga teachers and centres are hosting Yogathons, including Triyoga Primrose Hill London, Katy Appleton and Apple Yoga, Yoga Haven Brighton and Yoga Sara Bristol.
A Yogathon works really well as a challenge event for Action on Addiction because of the links between yoga and recovery. Yoga has been shown to benefit individuals in recovery, because it creates a feeling of being in control of mind and body.
