The Angels Ball 2008

We are delighted to announce that this year's Angels Ball will be held on Thursday 15th October 2008 at the elegant Plaisterers Hall. It promises to be a fabulous night with guests tantalised by a stunning evening of 'Burlesque Bazaar'.

The sixth Angels Ball took place on Thursday 15th November 2007 at the luxurious Jumeirah Carlton Tower, situated in the heart of Knightsbridge. This was a stunning evening that journeyed to the East for a night of oriental sophistication. Over 350 high profile guests were welcomed to this fabulous event, which raised an estimated £350,000 for Action on Addiction's vital research and treatment programs.

The Angels Ball is the charity's flagship event and the highlight of the Angels Against Addiction campaign. The evening brings together all those dedicated to taking action on addiction.

The Sport Against Addiction Dinner and Auction 2008

Damon and Georgie Hill

 Damon Hill, David Coulthard, Ilie Nastase, Duncan Goodhew, Sean Fitzpatrick and Fatima Whitbread were just some of Britain's sporting Heroes who gave their support to the annual Sport Against Addiction dinner and auction, which raised a phenomenal £220,000 for Action on Addiction.

This years event, co-chaired by Annette Mason and Damon Hill, took place on Thursday 1st May at Quaglino's restaurant and was an evening of sporting success. Guests enjoyed a fun-filled evening and were treated to an exclusive ten minute stand-up from comedian Rory Bremner, who also joined host Tania Bryer for a fabulous Live Auction.

Selfridges 'Girls' Night In'

Tania Liz Hurley webFor the second year running Action on Addiction has been chosen as the benefitting charity for the Selfridges & Co 'Girls' Night In'

An exclusive night of girly fun and fashion took place at Selfridges & Co on Oxford Street, London, on 5th December 2007, raising over £15,000 for Action on Addiction.

Tania Bryer hosted this fabulous evening in the VIP personal shopping area at Selfridges, where some of London's most glamorous women were indulged with astrologers, masseurs, handsome waiters and a stunning fashion show.

Flora London Marathon 2009

Bernadette HardAction on Addiction has 19 Golden Bond places for the 2009 Flora London Marathon, taking place on Sunday 26th April 2009. We would love to hear from first time and experienced marathon runners who would like to take part and join the Action on Addiction team.

The Grand Tour 2008

This fabulous event is the original London to Monte Carlo fundraising rally. It takes place 13th- 17th July on its 5-day adventure to Monte Carlo and sets out to recreate a by-gone era when motoring was a joy. All you need is a good sense of humour, a suitable motor and a pair of shades for this truly memorable adventure.

Swim into Action 2007

swimintoactionOn Sunday 4th March 2007 Action on Addiction held its second 'Swim into Action' event at The Third Space, London's premier health and fitness club.

The event was an outstanding success, with swimmers raising over £116,000 in sponsorship for Action on Addiction.
