Facilities

Laundry

You will be expected to take care of your own personal laundry. Washing machines with inbuilt washing liquid (bio and non-bio), drying racks, and ironing equipment are all available free of charge. For a small charge of 20p per cycle, tumble driers are also available for your convenience. The laundering of bedding and towels is undertaken by a local laundry company, and a fresh supply is always available.

Refreshments

The Patients' Pantry is open 24 hours a day with facilities for making hot and cold drinks.

In-house shop

You will be able to purchase basic toiletries from our small shop which is open daily, Monday - Friday, between 1.30pm and 2.00pm. Also available is a good variety of healthy snacks.

Smoking

Clouds House is a non-smoking environment. There is, however, provision to smoke on a covered balcony attached to the main lounge. Cigarettes and tobacco may be purchased from the in-house shop.

A Smoke Stop clinic, facilitated by specially-trained members of our nurse team, is available every Thursday.
