Foundation Degree in Addictions Counselling
The Action on Addiction Foundation Degree in Addictions Counselling is a higher education qualification, awarded by the University of Bath.
It is signposted to DANOS and recognized by FDAP.
Foundation Degrees are higher education vocational qualifications at intermediate level. They focus on work-based learning, combined with taught units and are aimed at individuals who want to improve their skills, understanding and knowledge in line with employers' needs. The course is available as a Full-Time Foundation Degree programme for newcomers to addictions counselling, or there's a Part-Time Foundation Degree programme for those already working in the field.
