Professional Education opportunities!
We are now able to offer the Units of the degrees we deliver (Foundation Degree and BSc (Hons) in Addictions Counselling) as stand-alone courses. Since these are validated by the University of Bath they attract transferable credits which the University will award.
Earn transferable academic credits from the University of Bath!
Enrol with the University before coming on your first course (this costs you nothing, and we help you with the process which just involves filling out a form) and undertake the assignments which assess your learning.
We will provide tutorial support to complete these assignments which include both traditional academic work (e.g. an essay or a case study) and some work-based reflective writing as you transfer your learning into the workplace. You will usually have up to two months after the course teaching to complete the assignments.
We strongly encourage you to enrol with the University as there is a certain amount of central funding available for enrolled students and we are able to pass this saving on to you, making your studies less expensive and allowing you to gain credits. If you do not wish to enrol you are still welcome to attend but the cost is higher. In this case, you may still complete the assignments if you wish and we will assess these and give you a mark, but you will not be eligible for academic credit.
