Institute for Public Policy Research Holds Supporting Parents and Families Conference

The Institute of Public Policy Research is holding a one-day conference to bring together stakeholders from a range of sectors involved in supporting parents and families. The day will focus on the future direction of policy and highlight some of the latest examples of innovative whole-family support. Please see the programme below.

Action on Addiction's Families Plus division will be attending the event.

The event will:

  • Discuss how family and relationship policy priorities could change under future possible administrations, with family policy set to be a kay battleground in the coming election
  • Anticipate the agenda behind the government's forthcoming family and relationship policy Green Paper
  • Provide evidence from the most innovative initiatives on how to improve service coordination and reduce reliance on high-cost services
  • Offer the latest thinking on the future direction of family and relationship policy from leading experts in the field
