Residential Family Programme
Families Plus offers a five-day residential programme for the relatives of alcohol and drug dependants. This is usually held at a retreat centre in Warminster, Wiltshire, and offers information about addiction and its effects on others, and information on related subjects, such as anger management and self esteem. Group therapy provides an opportunity to explore more personal issues and to receive help and support with those issues.
Workshops and less formal meetings cover, in a less structured way, a range of subjects.
This short intervention can make a significant difference to the recovery process for the whole family.
