Honours Degree
If you have graduated from the Foundation Degree (FDSc Addictions Counselling) we can give you the opportunity to further develop your knowledge and skills by progression onto the Honours programme.
This involves 1 year of full-time or 2 years part-time study, leading to a BSc (Hons) Addictions Counselling awarded by the University of Bath. As with the Foundation Degree, the Honours programme is designed and delivered by the Centre for Addictions Treatment Centre (CATS) and has a strong focus on work based learning.
The programme includes units on management skills and provides students with a sound underpinning for professional development to the role of team leader and beyond. Equal emphasis is given to research-based activities, in-depth counselling skills, and management.

The programme for full-time students runs from early October to the end of May with two week breaks for Christmas and Easter.
