Action on Addiction has a variety of running and cycling (NEW!) events on offer in 2013 and we would love for you to join in the fun with Team Action on Addiction. By taking part in one of these runs or rides you could really help people turn their lives around for the better.

The Bupa Great North Run – Sunday 15th September 2013


The Great North Run is a famous and fabulous event which attracts runners from all over the UK and beyond. This is your chance to be there, in Newcastle, enjoying the sites and sounds of thousands of runners taking to the cities streets. We have guaranteed charity places on offer and would be thrilled if you would like to join our half marathon team and enjoy this famous event and really make a difference to the work that we do. 


 
The Royal Parks Half Marathon – Sunday 6^th October 2013

The Royal Parks Half Marathon is a fantastic event and we are lucky to have guaranteed charity places once again. It is a wonderful day, allowing participants and spectators to enjoy London at its best. The runners take in the sights of Big Ben, The London Eye, the Royal Albert Hall and Buckingham Palace, all while thousands of supporters line the streets to cheer you on. Finishing in the beautiful Hyde Park, you can enjoy the Food and Fitness festival with all your family and friends before heading home for a well-deserved rest! We would be thrilled if you chose to join Team Action on Addiction and we could be part of your challenge.  

Virgin London Marathon – Sunday 21^st April 2013

The Virgin London Marathon really is a phenomenal event and we are proud to a part of it. With thousands of runners and supporters, the atmosphere is electric and inspirational. We now have a full team for 2013 but please do get in touch if you would like to join us on the sidelines and cheer on our 30 incredible runners. Alternatively, put your name down on our waiting list as you never know when a space might become available!

NEW! NEW! NEW! CYCLING!

Prudential RideLondon - Surrey 100

This NEW cycling event is organised by the Virgin London Marathon team so it promises to be a GREAT event. It takes place on Sunday 4th August 2013, will start in the new Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, then follow a 100-mile route on closed roads through the capital and into Surrey’s stunning countryside, finishing on The Mall. This event is suitable for both club and recreational cyclists. We don't have many places so drop Katie an email at katie.blower@actiononaddiction.org.uk or give her a buzz on 020 7793 3414 before they all get snapped up!  
 

MOONRIDERS CYCLING EVENTS

We are really excited about these new cycling events and would love for you to join in the fun! We have two fantastic moonlit rides on offer:

- London to Brighton - Friday 12th July 2013
- London at Halloween - Friday Fright Night 25th October 2013
